[Unit Description]
The C-2 class mechanized light infantry soldier is the answer to increasing security demands as the Akkalah Unitary State expands ever outward. Thanks to it's sturdy, light frame, the C-2 class infantry mech is capable of piloting any kind of craft designed for the human form. This allows the C-2 a great deal of flexibility in terms of function, as entire regiments of automated soldiers could be deployed with zero risk to human life. The C-2 class infantry mech is designed with a triple-core quantum central processing unit, this allows the C-2 to lose two of the three cores and continue to function unimpeded. In addition each C-2 unit is a completely closed system, forcing those who would wish to hack into one to get close enough for melee combat. This however forces commands to be give to the unit the same way normal soldiers are given orders. The key usefulness of the C-2 mechanized infantry unit is its human-like reasoning, problem solving, and improvisational skills. This allows it to effectively carry out orders and even operate independently if the need arises. While the C-2 is indeed sapient, it is not sentient and as such does not classify as a sophont.
C-2 class infantry mechs are purposefully given short battery lives, with the only method of recharge being microwave lasers. Without recharging, a C-2 infantry mech can continue to function for three hours. When cut off from command, C-2 mechs will immediately attempt to return to it's unit. If during this time period it reaches the end of its three hour battery lifespan, it will immediately activate the plastic explosive charges embedded within it's core. Furthermore, when C-2 mechs are separated from their unit and it encounters enemy or hostile personnel it will self-destruct. The charges are designed to only destroy the vital parts of the machine such as the three QCPU cores, denying anyone the opportunity to disassemble it and steal the technology within. C-2 class infantry mechs also feature advanced Faraday shielding, protecting it against military-grade EMP explosives. Should the EMP disable the unit however, it will automatically switch to a backup mechanical system to detonate the internal charges.

More closely following the design of the C-2, the C-4 is a command unit designed specifically to command mechanized infantry, however it can be used to command sophont infantry as well. It features slightly better armor than the average C-2 mechanized infantry unit, as well as a larger set of radio broadcasting antennae. Aside from these differences, it resembles the C-2 in all aspects.

[Unit Description]
The B-4 mechanized assault infantry unit is specially designed for defensive combat, sporting a heavy frame and thick armor as well as built-in weaponry. It is slower than its fellow mech infantry members, and weighs more, but this machine significantly more capable at direct warfare. The B-4 mech infantry unit has the unique ability to transform into a stationary turret, lowering its profile and increasing its attack power. Features is shares with its C class counterparts are its intelligence, power supply, battery life, and security systems.
