>Biographical Information<
"We are not so different, myself and the ship plumber. A different education, a different family, a different genome; we would have reached the same heights. This is why we must care for the people. A heavy hand leaves no room for them to realize their potential, and yet we must cautiously balance this against our own security."

[Apparel]
Aden Sumati wears a very distinct garb. For the most part, her dresses are born from the old State of Denaus. Most indicative of her presence, however, is the simplistic 'gild cap' worn by officials of the long-dead People's Republic of Okar. When not intending to be viewed in public, Sumati wears a simplistic jumpsuit with a telltale pendant over her sternum.
>Personal Information<
[Personality]
Sumati is nothing if not a fan of history. She loathes to hear of 'history repeating itself' by less critical minds. While some tend to see her as contentious towards other executives, Sumati believes that by challenging the others, she is helping them to improve. She is exceptionally confident in the State, believing that humanity is best served by strong leadership and careful supervision. Sumati is perhaps more personally involved than the others, and is not averse to talking among her subjects. She is notoriously difficult for the people to label; some years she might be a champion of the public, others a distant mother, but never have the masses called her evil.
[Notable Skills]
Logistical mentat
[Goals]
To carefully manage the Akkalah Unitary State's core, balancing humanity's many desires in a mad attempt to keep track of it all.
[Biography]
Aden Sumati is a fourth generation post-Singularity child, considered to be raised after the renewal of the Akkalah Unitary State was an interplanetary power. Hers was the start of a new set of generations that had no major obstacles to overcome, the first ones to truly be confronted with limitless possibility. Sumati gave the decision of her future to her parents, who having selected her out a series of test tubes to pick out an intelligent genome, put her through a state program developing new mentats. With Daughter watching closely over the creation of new intelligences, the State relied on trained human brainpower to accomplish their goals. Sumati's particular prowess went towards handling interplanetary trade lanes and public relations. The highest she was ever meant to go through the State's hierarchy was a managerial position for the Department of Foreign Affairs, but her interests drew her closer to home.
She served for the longest time as a member of the Department of Cultural Affairs, handling what she liked to call "configuration and adaptation" and what the documents called "propaganda". Her role was not to craft sensational, polarizing media, but rather to combine inspiring statistics from all around the State and break them down for those who worked the lowest jobs. Nothing quite convinced the public like results, but her handlers noted that whenever her publications went out, they clashed with the purely-emotional media created by other CA workers. While they were brainstorming, Sumati came up with the brilliant idea to stop publishing under the 'Office of Cultural Affairs' and instead begin a widely publicized blog under her own name, with rank included of course. After a series of meetings with the Department head at the time, she was approved and started producing under her own name.
Sumati became a public figure, but her blog very clearly moved away from attracting the public's awe. She became more focused on what she wanted to change about the State, using her publicity to hear what the people thought. There were plenty of stupid comments, but what amazed her more was just how many people agreed with her. Of course, continuing like that would put her out of a job; Sumati curtailed her blog back to personalized propaganda, waiting a few months for people to forget her little stunt. Then she requested a transfer to the Department of Domestic Affairs.
The previous executive, a State of Denaus countryman from before the Singularity whose body could not keep up with even the best of life-extending medicines, recommended her to step up after she proved herself capable of leading a nation. Over the many years, her best teacher has been failure. Despite much criticism during her early reign as Executive, Sumati has learned much over her tenure. Alongside Executive Jones, she is quite possibly the largest contributor to the success of the Akkalah Unitary State in the last fifty years.
